You will never find,

Though you travel afar,

From the Old Rocky Mountains

To where pyramids are,

A place more delightful,

Created to cheer,

Than a home on the bluffs

That look over Lake Weir.

They are beautiful spots

In a beautiful clime,

Where the health-giving breezes

Are almost divine,

As they come with their kisses

To comfort us here

In our dwellings that stand

On the shores of Lake Weir.
